Timing Q: My machine is occasionally dropping stitches -- could it need retiming? A: No. Singer Featherwerights very rarely loose their timing. I'd be checking the needle in this situation.
Q: Can I retime my Featherweight myself? A: Yes, if you must -- see the service manual on this site, but if the helical gears have been disturbed it can be a fiddly job perhaps best left to a service engineer
