Parts supply Q: Does Singer still make Featherweight parts? A: No, but some dealers still have stocks and just about everything is available either from companies making reproduction parts or from dealers like myself who dismantle machines for vital spares.

Q: Are floral/deco plates and graduated stitch plates available? A: If you are going to fit a floral/deco face plate to a later machine, please retain the originl -- the next owner might be a stickler for originality. Same is true of fitting graduated stitch plates to earlier machines. I usually have deco face plates available and occasionally original graduated stitch plates. For the reproduction stitch plate try the dealers mentioned above.
Q: The Singer medalion on my white/green machine is a foil type that is glued on, and it is torn and coming off. Are replacemants available? Laurette Carroll A: Unfortunately not.
