All about the wall-
hanging contest
We've a great prize lined up for the contest and are currently finalizing the details.

Our rules are very simple and should make the contest fun for all level of quilters.
The Halloween theme wall hanging should:
1. Be no larger than 31" wide x 27" long;
2. Be no smaller than 20" wide x 28" long;
3. Have a hanging sleeve;
4. Be completely pieced and quilted by a handcrank or treadle sewing machine (of course, binding can be put on by hand and yes, embellishments put on by hand are allowed);
5. Be pre-registered with Peggy Smith (see below) no later than August 1, 2009;
6. Please place your label (with name and machine used) just below your hanging sleeve, not the lower corner as is the normal location; and
7. The contest is opened to ALL ISMACS members (whether attending the convention or not) and all non-members who will be attending the convention.
All entries need to be received NO later than September 25, 2009 by Peggy Smith at 220 Paulette Circle, Lynchburg, VA 24502.
For those who will not be attending the convention, return packaging and postage must accompany each entry.
